Certified Home Inspector
A construction worker at the age 19, Joe has seen every aspect of home building; from framing to roofs, to trim finish, going through kitchen and bathroom installs. Joe also has had many years of experience in various home renovation and repair work; such as fixing leaky foundations, weeping tiles, and complete extensions. General Contractor, foreman, worker – he has seen every level of interaction with his co-workers, and clients.
Joe has always used his knowledge of construction to the benefit of his client. In 2014 he completed the AmeriSpec home inspector apprentice program and was certified by OAHI (Ontario Association of Home Inspectors), leading his peers throughout the process.
Joe is passionate about his career as a home inspector, and we are convinced you will appreciate his competence and friendly demeanour.
Joe is a Certified Inspector with OAHI. He is also a Certified Healthy Indoor Air Specialist and is WETT Certified.

Certified Home Inspector
Martin started working in the construction industry at the age of 15, working alongside his father, founder of a telecommunications company. He has worked in many aspects of the home building industry: from site work, house repair (home-flipping) and project management.
- In 2007, he started working as a qualified home energy assessor, working closely with homeowners to help them make the most of the ecoENERGY Retrofit program grants offered by the Canadian government at the time.
- During this period, Martin also obtained his certification as a home inspector at AmeriSpec. To date, he has inspected and assessed over 2,500 homes in the vicinity of the National Capital Region.
- Martin is known for being detail-oriented, dedicated and passionate about his work. His main focus as a home inspector is working hard to provide the best service possible to each and every customer.

Certified Home Inspector
At a young age, Steve Fortin was introduced to the world of construction. Working side-by-side with his father, a great contractor, he learnt about the craft. Steve Fortin has over 20 years of experience in every aspect of construction from footings to roofing. He has also been the lead contractor on the construction of four houses.
In early 2000, Steve established a roofing company where he also gained valuable client service skills.
In 2007, with the support of his family, Steve returned to the classroom and became a home-inspector in the Gatineau region. Today, he has completed over a thousand home inspections and energy audits. This is a passion for Steve. His career allows him to meet new clients, see new homes and take on new challenges daily.
Steve is a Certified Inspector with the following associations: Association d’Inspecteurs en Bâtiments du Québec (AIBQ), and Conseil National de certification des inspecteurs Immobiliers. He is also a Certified Thermographer with the Infrared Training Center – FLIR Canada.
